I just made a new Voki and added it to my blog

While looking to make a simple avatar I came across www.voki.com. I remembered hearing about voki in the past and began playing. The tool was easy to figure out (although you could spend hours trying to get it “just right”). I was even able to record my own voice for the voki.

What took me the longest was figuring out how to embed the voki into a WordPress blog. Here are the instructions.

This tool is cute and was a lot of fun to play with. They do offer a classroom version and have some lesson plans but I don’t know that this is something I’ll use with students in my school. If you have used it in the past I would love to hear about what you did.

About Kim Nemeth

Hello and welcome to my blog. I am a High School Library Media Specialist in beautiful Saratoga Springs New York. I am an avid reader and am addicted to learning. This blog was originally started as part of the Cool Tools for Schools project in 2012. Since then I have continued to participate in Cool Tools for Schools and add my thoughts here. I found this blog to be an excellent place to refer to when I needed an idea or had a tick mark in my head and needed a reminder. I would love comments and feedback on my posts. Enjoy!
